How We Support Young Athletes
Personalized care to help kids and teens recover, get stronger, and stay in the game with physiotherapy in North Vancouver.
From soccer at Inter River Park to ski season on Mount Seymour, North Shore kids keep busy. Our Dollarton clinic, just over the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge, sees young athletes from Deep Cove, Seymour, Lynn Valley and beyond, and we tailor every treatment plan to your child's age, activity, and goals.
If your child is dealing with an injury or a specific pain, we'll start with a full assessment to find out what's going on. From there, we build a plan with hands-on treatment, targeted exercises, and plenty of education for you and your child, so they can return to their favourite activities as quickly, safely, and successfully as possible.

Sports Injury Rehab in North Vancouver
Getting Back to Play, Safely
Ligament sprains, muscle strains, fractures, and post-surgical recovery all need a careful return to sport. Our physiotherapists guide your child through each stage of healing. That starts with advice on rest and equipment like crutches, then moves to exercises that rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence before they're back in the game. You'll find us on Dollarton Highway, in the same building as Jump Gymnastics.
Prehab & Injury Prevention in North Vancouver
Building Strength Before the Season Starts
Prehab (short for "prehabilitation") helps prevent injuries before they happen. We work on sport conditioning, dynamic core strength, flexibility, and posture and gait retraining to help young athletes move well and keep overuse injuries at bay. Prehab can also help kids get stronger before a planned surgery, which may support a smoother recovery afterwards.
Other Conditions We Support

Frequently Asked Questions

As soon as possible is usually best. Early on, a physiotherapist can give advice on rest and equipment like crutches and start gentle exercises toward returning to play. If you're not sure about timing, give our Dollarton team a call and we'll help you figure out the right time to come in.
Rehab comes after an injury or surgery and focuses on getting your child back to where they were. Prehab happens before a sports season or a planned surgery, building strength and mobility to lower the chance of injury and make any future recovery easier.
Yes. Our physiotherapists can build a prehab plan to boost strength before surgery, which may help with a smoother recovery. We'll also walk you and your child through what to expect during and after the procedure.
You'll find us a few blocks east of the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge, on the north side of Dollarton Highway between Riverside Drive and Forester Street. We share 10 reserved parking spots with Jump Gymnastics, so we recommend leaving a little extra time to find a spot in our lot or on a nearby street.
